Welcome to my personal site! I am an evolutionary ornithologist based at the Instituto Alexander von Humboldt as Curator of Birds. Also, I am currently an Associate at the Department of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology and the Museum of Comparative Zoology at Harvard University. I am a museum-trained evolutionary biologist, and my primary interests are in systematics and evolutionary biology of birds. My research revolves around the integration of fieldwork, museum specimens, high-throughput genomic technologies, and bioinformatic tools to infer phylogenetic hypotheses and perform comparative genomic and phenotypic analyses at various spatial and temporal scales.
